My name is Matias Deneken, I am a sociologist, Master in Sociology and Master in Data Science and Innovation. I am currently working in the areas of intercultural relations, justification of social violence and political discourse. Throughout my work experience, I have been in charge of handling, processing and analyzing different sources of information, from text mining to longitudinal surveys. Currently, I am specializing in natural language processing and design of experiments.

My areas of interest are social psychology and computational social science.

I am a user of the R programming language and Python 🐍.

I am also a Fulbright scholar and will start my PhD in approximately 2027 🔜🇺🇸

Mi nombre es Matías Deneken, soy sociologo, magíster en sociología y candidato a magíster en Ciencia de Datos e Innovacion. Actualmente me encuentra trabajando en el área de las relaciones intergrupales, justificacion de la violencia y discurso político. En el pasado me interesé en la historia de las ciencias sociales en Chile. A lo largo de mi experiencia, he trabajado a diferentes niveles de análisis de datos y fuentes de informacion, tales como la minería de texto y encuestas longitudinales. Al día de hoy, me estoy especializandooslos en procesamiento de lenguaje natural y diseño de experimentos.

En la actualidad, soy becario Fulbright e iniciaré mi doctorado en 2027, apróximandamente. Idealmente en Psicologia Social o Ciencias Sociales Computationales.
