Summary

  • rename the basic versioned endpoint test to focus on authentication behaviour
  • assert the endpoint responds with a 401 status and explicit error payload when no API key is provided

Testing

  • python -m pytest -o addopts="" tests/integration/test_versioned_api.py::test_versioned_endpoint_requires_authentication
