This project is about running openHAB - the open-source home automation bus on the Raspberry PI. It aims to provide a simple, yet fast and energy-efficient platform for tinkerers and enthusiats alike.

I started this project to enable others to make use of this excellent combination for their home automation. My personal background is Linux, Hardware and Microcontrollers so I'd guess to be good suited for this task. At home, I have a KNX installation for basic tasks and extend this using this setup for various other things.
