This release includes major bugfixes for Fingerprinter v1.0. Those bugs weren't found during a first extensive testing phase. The bugs were found in a different (network) environment than the official testing environment.

Fingerprinter v1.0

This first version of Fingerprinter is able to do a networkbased OS-Fingerprinting for Windows and Ubuntu systems. This is achieved by sending a TCP-SYN segment and analyzing the TTL-value of the returned TCP-SYN, ACK segment. This version is also able to do a networkbased cloudprovider-detection for a given system on either AWS or Azure. This release marks the end of my thesis for receiving the bachelor's degree in computer sciences at Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS). Additional releases may follow, depending on my free time and motivation on creating and maintining an open source project. Some ideas for further work on this project are listed on the Issues-Page.
