When launching the Data Explorer for the first time, the splash screen says "There are no queries to search. Please use Edit Config to define queries and views.". This is correct!!!
But, if the user selects the "search" menu item, it takes them to the search screen, which can be confusing.

Selecting the "Search" menu item with no queries defined should give a popup letting the user know!!!
Like "There are no queries to search. Please use Edit Config to define queries and views."
