Mobile Testing
As of Version 1.93 released in February 2017 the Gapfill question type supports the Moodle mobile app. This works in a similar way to the core ddwtos question type using a click to select and click to paste approach rather than drag and drop. Mobile support is included with the standard distribution and requires no additional configuration if your Moodle site is configured to support the app.
For mobile browsers (rather than the app) I test every new version with mobile browsers as extensively as I can, concentrating on mainstream iOS and Android. The following posting shows some extensive testing performed during 2014. The reported absence of the down arrow with dropdowns has been fixed since then.
