ArduTouch Music Synthesizer is an inexpensive kit that anyone can complete successfully, even total beginners who've never made anything before.
Build it, and it works! It is pre-programmed to make lots of cool, nasty, and beautiful sounds, and music.
It has a touch keyboard, has lots of voices. It has Vibrato, Tremolo, Portamento, Low Pass Filters, High Pass Filters, Clipping Filters, and other effects. It will have more as we develop more...
The line out jack produces surprisingly high quality sound for such an inexpensive synthesizer.
The current cost of the kit is $30 at my workshops, but I'm hoping to reduce my costs, and thus the kit price.
The ArduTouch music synthesizer is Arduino-compatible, and the ArduTouch sketch can be programmed into any Arduino. It looks like an Arduino Uno board, and can be programmed with the free Arduino software.
Read through the Arduino sketch to learn more about the code (which will be documented better as time goes on).
The ArduTouch Arduino library makes it very easy to create your own synthesizers.
The sketches are commented well and fully explains how the ArduTouch sketch and library work, so that those interested can learn Digital Signal Processing for audio generation.
