Are talking about sent or received eQSL cards? The former is implemented. |

I found the default QSL message setting on the station configuration. It's not dynamic though it's just plain text and I'm not sure it's even working unless eQSL isn't using it anymore |

I was talking about this field in QSO logging window/tab: You can type a text here which is added to your outgoing eqsl card. This can be predefined in the station configuration. I tested it when I implemented it. It was working. Not seen any messages that it sopped working. Does that meet your requirements? |

I have the station configuration text added as well as the nickname for eSQL - I don't see it added to my outgoing cards; I will test the notes field you've linked above when I can get my IP address unblocked from eQSL 👎 It's definitely better than having a global comment; I would like it to be dynamic but this will do nicely thank you |

It's working just as you describe thanks, impossible to know unless you create a second eSQL account.. |

You can, but it doesn't show the message

Well you can display your outgoing cards in the eqsl.cc<http://eqsl.cc> outbox. No need for a second account.

Not for me - a QSO uploaded to Cloudlog and forwarded to eQSL;
[cid:E75A4DFE-BBCF-47F5-BDBC-0201273647ED]
2nd Account - downloaded from inbox, the message exists in my outbox correctly from the other account:
[cid:69556035-1939-428E-9AD8-F0F8F80AB131]
Out of interest I created this QSO in cloudlog; anything that's uploaded from another logging system doesn't get the additional comment added; that's probably what the problem is…

It's not, and it's not a common field most don't include it

My QSO was entered into Cloudlog manually. How and from where was your QSO uploaded to Cloudlog? I bet the QSLMSG field is not set in that application.

Now for the meat of the question; should it? I see there are other automations on the logs such as updating country fields etc

I don't know either, the only thing displayed on the EQSL card is that QSLMSG field. They explicitly state they don't show comment and that it is for private use. It's a special field really because it is displayed on the eQSL card. I don't know any other service that uses it but I imagine they would use it in the same way if they did.For me I would like to be able to dynamically populate that field from other fields. If a user chooses not to add dynamic text or if the field is empty then use the default setting before sending over to eQSL.On 14 Mar 2024 15:19, "Florian (DF2ET)" ***@***.***> wrote:
Not sure. What should we do? Copy COMMENT to QSLMSG? Not sure where this causes issues. Btw: I don't see COMMENT being filled from GC Terminal...

eQSL dynamically adds messages to QSL cards based on the QSLMSG field; it would be nice to be able to automatically populate that field with data. For example the green cube terminal longer adds an automatic comment it would be great to be able to copy that comment into the QSLMSG field automatically or indeed create some custom automatic comment.
