example not working

hello. I'm a student in the biology field, and new to single cell RNA sequencing.
I recently read the article about the TRUST4 from the nature method, and wanted to use it for analyzing my data.
so, I downloaded the file, and ran using ubuntu.
however, I couldn't run the example files. every time I ran it, it says

Can't exec "/mnt/d/scRNA_TCRseq/TRUST4/bam-extractor": No such file or directory at ./run-trust4 line 48.

        --repseq: the data is from TCR-seq or BCR-seq (default: not set)
        --outputReadAssignment: output read assignment results to the prefix_assign.out file (default: no output)

Have you run "make" to compile and generate the TRUST4 executables? Thanks.
