Working Groups

Carolyn Van Slyck edited this page Jul 16, 2018 · 1 revision

Each working should meet (or not meet) at its own discretion. We don’t need to assign “leaders” for any of the groups. All we ask is the following:

  • Folks sign up to be part of the groups, and participate in the group as long as they’re signed up
    • It’s ok to drop out of course, just make sure you communicate that ahead of time
  • Someone from each WG takes ~5 minutes at each Monday meeting to mention if anything notable is going on in the WG
    • For example, “we solved X - please review PR #1234”
    • If nothing to summarize, just say so so
  • If the group is planning to meet, they post details on how and when they’re going to meet under their WG heading below (i.e. “2pm PST at ”)

Working groups exist for an undefined period of time. If members feel that the WG has accomplished its goal, the WG is done. Just say so in the next monday meeting.

Below are each of the working groups we talked about and their purpose.
