Having trouble initiating upload with XMODEM

I've tried both the docker and the host method. When I get to number 2 of the bootloader process:

2. Press CTRL-A s to open the file upload dialog. Select xmodem and press Enter. Navigate the file selector so that firmware file is highlighted and select it with Spacebar, then press Enter to upload.

It just stays stuck here:

How can I "Give your local XMODEM receive command now." ? I'm waiting for about 5 minutes here before I CTRL-C out of the window.

• Is there a setting that I am missing?
• Should this take more than 5 minutes?

edit: I actually just timed it, 10 minutes and it's still stuck, so I don't think it's actually uploading.

OK, I got it going. Instead of waiting for the 1. upload gbl task to complete before going to the next step, I needed to start the upload while it was outputting the CCCCCC characters.

It wasn't clear to me to do this from the steps. I think I'll open a PR to clarify and see if others agree.

Edit: scratch that PR idea, these steps are in a wiki and can't be updated by outside collaborators.
