The jwt-go library (https://github.com/dgrijalva/jwt-go) isn't being actively maintained (see: dgrijalva/jwt-go#426 and dgrijalva/jwt-go#286). If we can't rely on updates, we should move to a different jwt library.

  • Potentially switch to form3tech fork? Or go-jose?
