I guess the only way to properly see what it does is to merge and create a prerelease. There's https://github.com/nektos/act for running workflows locally but it's not certain that way either. |

This builds and uploads binaries and pushes changed images to quay.
The version stuff was modified to use github.com/carlmjohnson/versioninfo that will set a version properly when installed via
go install. Checking for new releases was removed.
