Logbot is a simple IRC logger with realtime web-based UI.
- Use Docker
- Install Docker
- Run
docker run -d -p 15000:15000 -v /home/k0nsl/logbot:/etc/logbot -e LOGBOT_NICK=genericnondescripguy -e LOGBOT_CHANNELS=#k0nsl,#trinity,#thehax -e LOGBOT_SERVER=ragnarok.k0nsl.org logbot
- Visit http://localhost:15000

Run the following command
docker build -t logbot .
- Then
docker-compose up -d
(or use cmd in "How to Deploy")

Manual installation
- Ruby (1.9.3+) and Redis server must be installed
- Run
bundle install
to install required Ruby gems - Run
compass compile
to compile Sass files - Fire up your
redis-server
- Specify target channels in
logbot.rb
- Run
foreman start
to launch web server (WEBrick) and Logbot agent - Visit http://localhost:15000.
First find the IP of the docker container by issuing docker inspect -f '{{range .NetworkSettings.Networks}}{{.IPAddress}}{{end}}' <container-id>
and make a note of it.
