See http://dev.clojure.org/jira/browse/CLJ-1249 for an example case where a Clojure developer had a very difficult time tracking down a name conflict.

Seems to have been implemented while fixing issue #81, so this is being closed as a duplicate (a completed duplicate).

The issue was already fixed in release 0.1.5, but I didn't notice it
until now.
