Esp32 boot led flashes once and stuck #3552

Hi,

After i installed from web interface and boot device, device stucks at boot. I'm using 8GB FAT32 MBR sdcard with contents in it. Also set wlan.ini correctly. Device boots and flashlight and led blinks once, nothing happens later.

I tried to build and send it device (with visual studio code). When i try this method device starts to loop with

"rst:0x8 (TG1WDT_SYS_RESET),boot:0x13 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT) "

I tried to close TG1 panic with sdkconfig after that it stops at "Start app_main"

I tried to flash with arduino uno too.

PS:Is it possible to remove some features to reduce APP partition size.

Just to update here, i tried external micro sd adapter but it still didn't work (also tried simple sd card sample, same thing). So i bought another esp32cam and it installed and reads sd card. I think old my card is clone of clone. Thanks for help.

Did you also use the SD files from version 15.7.0?
The webinstaller installs version 15.7.0 and therefore you also need the SD files from version 15.7.0.
The SD files must fit with the firmware, otherwise there are problems or even boot loops.

I was on 16 now tried 15.7.0 but same thing happens, same log. Is there a way to increase log level without reflashing firmware?

To do this, you would have to change in the config.ini "LogLevel = 1" to "LogLevel = 4".

Sorry for late response i was away from device, i tested with the changes but stucks at sameplace. When i try to compile and install from code at 15.7.0 this time stucks at same place but no led flash happens.

I could not find how to enable all logs in esp32 so i added printf lines to code and find where it panics(?) i think. And now it starts to reboot like crazy again.

possible culprit is this guy i think sdmmc_card_init

If you can provide me how to enable debug level logging (i tried to set esp_log_level_set("*", ESP_LOG_VERBOSE);), i can trace root level too.

I'm starting to think my board is faulty.

do you have any idea what i can do to fix this line below? I tried different sd cards too, 2GB 8GB 16GB.

I don't know your board and therefore it is difficult to say what goes wrong.
Do you have a circuit diary for the board or have you tried another project what an SD uses?

you could try to change:

Just to update here, i tried external micro sd adapter but it still didn't work (also tried simple sd card sample, same thing). So i bought another esp32cam and it installed and reads sd card. I think old my card is clone of clone. Thanks for help.
