Data from doi:10.1017/jog.2022.64 was re-analysed and ice algal single scattering optical properties were computed directly from measured extinction and absorption coefficients, instead of relying on Mie theory and assuming a specific shape and size distribution. This update also corrects a previous mistake in the physics, as biosnicar now calculates the effect of algae on albedo using the extinction coefficient, instead of the absorption coefficient. This makes the prescribed concentration vs impact more realistic.
