The Subnet Calculator is a tool designed to help users calculate subnets based on IP address inputs. It simplifies the process of subnetting by providing accurate subnet calculations, allowing users to efficiently manage and configure IP networks.
- IP Address Calculation: Enter an IP address to calculate the corresponding Subnet address, Range of addresses, Useable IPs and Hosts.
- Divide: Click on divide button to divide and in out you get IP and mast bit.
To use the Subnet Calculator, follow these steps:
- Installation: Clone the repository to your local machine or download the latest release from the Releases page.
- Setup: No additional setup is required. Simply open the
index.html
file in your web browser. - Usage: Enter the IP address and mask bit in the provided input fields. Click the "Update" button to view subnet details.
- Run the docker command
docker run -d --name subnet-calculator -p 80:80 subnet-calculator
- Provide localhost and port to access the subnet-calculator
Suppose you have an IP address 192.168.1.0
with a mask bit 16
. After entering these values into the Subnet Calculator and clicking "Update," the tool will display the following subnet details:
- Subnet address:
192.168.1.0
- Range of addresses:
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.25
- Useable IPs:
192.168.0.1 - 192.168.255.254
- Hosts:
65534
