The same trick would be useful for TOC generation as well. May be a note can be added there too? And I wonder if there's any other hidden tricks that "from markdown to markdown" can generates new features not supported by the to-variants. (variants of same features isn't counted here, e.g. tables).

And I recalled from #2814, from markdown to markdown can have interesting applications that's not immediately obvious.
