       <Abstract xml:lang="en">The proposed research aims to explore WSW in two townships in South Africa to shed light on how these women construct their sexuality through socio-cultural prisms of sexual acts. The research explores the practices, meanings, fluidity, multiplicities and narratives of sex in order to understand sexuality based on local nomenclature as well as explain sexual behaviours and risks to HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).
