Why is my screen always black

Okay, this time i know i may be a little annoying, Its my third ask for help,
but this time I really don't know how to fix this.

I'm using the waveshare v4 eink screen and the problem is basically that no matter what I change at the config.toml file it, the background is always black. I can't find anyone with the same issue, please help

so i have the same Problem but the ui.invert = true does not help. the screen flickers black and white every update. ui.display.color = "white" also dont change anything.

i see soft shadows from the updates (faces overlay)

Do not use waveshare2in13b_v4 for waveshare v4, it will flicker black and white when updating as you say.

Use "waveshare_4"
