Will the v4 eink screen work?

Yo I'm curious if the waveshare eink v4 display will work without problems with the latest version of pwnagotchi software (v2.8.9 when im typing this)

I can't find the v3 version available anywhere for my country, if the v4 wouldn't work, do you have any good site with v3 cheap for poland?

Do you maybe also know if i can add the battery indicator plugin for the pisugar v2 on the same version (v2.8.9) somehow? I know it works on alluminium sugar
