Deployment Steps

1. Ubuntu Desktop 14.04+ is highly recommended
2. Internet access is a must during deployment
3. Check and Run deploy.sh to prepare the environment
4. Launch redis-server
5. Update config.yml to use new private keys
6. Launch app server shotgun -o 0.0.0.0 -p 8080
7. Check users.json and tasks.json in DbInit/ to prepare initial data
8. Change working directory to DbInit/ and Run ruby dbinit.rb
9. Visit http://127.0.0.1:8080

Troubleshooting

1. Font issue on Amazon EC2 instance
   • Amazon EC2 instance comes without Desktop environement, therefore you'll need to install fonts by sudo apt-get install fontconfig fontconfig-config fonts-dejavu-core fonts-droid fonts-freefont-ttf fonts-kacst fonts-kacst-one fonts-khmeros-core fonts-lao fonts-liberation fonts-lklug-sinhala fonts-nanum fonts-opensymbol fonts-sil-abyssinica fonts-sil-padauk fonts-takao-pgothic fonts-thai-tlwg fonts-tibetan-machine fonts-tlwg-garuda fonts-tlwg-kinnari fonts-tlwg-loma fonts-tlwg-mono fonts-tlwg-norasi fonts-tlwg-purisa fonts-tlwg-sawasdee fonts-tlwg-typewriter fonts-tlwg-typist fonts-tlwg-typo fonts-tlwg-umpush fonts-tlwg-waree -y
