Radio
Class name: MVP_Radio
Editor category: Weapons
The radio is a tool that can be used by players to command friendly vehicles and marines from a distance. It has 3 different orders it can give the military forces, and 3 different methods of delivering those orders. It is a weapon that occupies the first weapon slot, to issue an order, use the fire key. To change the order you want to issue, use the alt fire key, and to change the method you want to issue the order with, use the reload key.
The default order that friendly vehicles have depends on if any players are visible, if no players friendly to the vehicle are visible, it’ll wander by default, otherwise, it will randomly pick one of the friendly players in sight to follow around.
Marines ordered by the radio will follow the order regardless of User_IgnoreOrders.
The vehicle/marine will follow around the player that gave them the order. Similar to how friendly monsters already behave by default.
The vehicle/marine will move around the map independent of any player, instead of following any particular player.
The vehicle/marine will not move unless engaging a target, after they engage an enemy, they will go back to standing around once their chase timer ends.
The radio will only order the vehicle or marine that is right in front of the players’ line of fire. When this mode is selected, a small crosshair is also added to help you aim. Useful for ordering specific NPCs.
The radio will order every vehicle and marine in a 1024 map unit radius around the player. Useful for ordering large groups around you.
The radio will behave like a mix of the previous two methods, with the specified order affecting every vehicle and marine in a 1024 map unit radius around the location the player is pointing at.
