Version 1.1:

  • bin merging now no longer creates redundant bins (these were then automatically removed in the bin refinement module, however now they are no longer carried to that step and discarded right away)
  • bin scoring and selection algorithm was updated
  • selection algorithm now includes an option to filter out contaminated bins using the --max_cont flag; default is 1, so no filters are applied making the output the same as for version 1.0; using a threshold of 0.05 (=5%) will only select bins below this level of contamination
  • the R package digest is a new dependency
  • output tables now include the raw contamination values, not the already weighted (using the b and c parameters)

Default values are set so outputs are comparable to v1.0, however output files have slightly changed and now no longer included Completeness and Contamination values and scores for all marker sets, but only for the highest scoring one. The highest scoring set is given in the column set.
