s390x link issue with archives using GCC 4.3.4 #7
Comments
Issue seems to be related to an 'ar' bug using thin archive files on 64-bit platforms. Removing the 'T' option from arflags_target in v8z/build/gyp/pylib/gyp/generator/make.py, works around the issue. Based on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=915411, the problem should be fixed in binutils-2.23.52.0.1-2.fc19. |
If this issue re-appears, remove the 'T' option from 'crsT' in v8z/build/gyp/pylib/gyp/generator/make.py. |
