HelloPush-Java-Server

This helloPush sample contains an Java server project that you can use to learn more about the IBM Cloud Push Notification Service.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have the following:

  • A IBM Cloud account.
  • Register devices for the push notifications.

Create an instance of IBM Cloud Push Notifications Service

  • Create an instance of IBM Cloud Push Notifications Service and configure it .

setup the app

  1. Run the mvn install to install the packages.
  2. Add the service credentials in the following code,
// initialize with push service appSecret or apikey
PushNotifications.initWithApiKey("YOUR_APPLICATION_ID", "YOUR_APIKEY",
               PushNotifications.US_SOUTH_REGION);

PushNotifications.init("YOUR_APPLICATION_ID", "YOUR_SECRET", PushNotifications.US_SOUTH_REGION);

Run the sample app

To run the sample via terminal or any code editors
