The TOC approved a requirement that maintainers
that have not been active in over three to six
months be move to emeritus status.

These maintainers have not been active in over
one year.

@ryjones Thanks for raising the PR. The intention of the TOC's guideline was to look at each project as a whole rather than focusing on each individual repository. In particular, FireFly has 19 repos, which work together as a whole, so it's not practical to look at each individual repo's activities to decide a maintainer's commitment to the project. Specifically, Peter is a core maintainer for FireFly, he might jump in to help with a need in the sandbox repo tomorrow if code contribution is needed there.

As such, I'm closing this PR. but please feel free to let me know if you have any concerns.

@jimthematrix Firefly should move to using a pointer to a single file in the main repo, then
