Description:

Fix light template to return brightness as int

Checklist:

I don't get this test failure. It seems unrelated, but I'm not sure. I don't have 3.4 to test locally.

It's a flaky test. They have been getting worse recently 😢 However, mostly on Python 3.4 so we can axe them in 5 days when I cut the release branch and main branch will go 3.5+ 👍
