The problem

The Broadlink integration doesn't support all RM4C mini devices. Every time after an update I have to add the following line to /./usr/local/lib/python3.8/site-packages/broadlink/init.py :
0x6539: (rm4, "RM4C mini", "Broadlink"),

Environment

  • Home Assistant Core release with the issue: 2021.1.4
  • Last working Home Assistant Core release (if known): 2021.1.4
  • Operating environment (OS/Container/Supervised/Core): OS (on Proxmox VM)
  • Integration causing this issue: Broadlink
  • Link to integration documentation on our website: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/broadlink/

Hey there @Danielhiversen, @felipediel, mind taking a look at this issue as its been labeled with an integration (broadlink) you are listed as a codeowner for? Thanks!

This is the same issue in #45178. The broadlink python library has been updated to support the new devices but for some reason it is not getting included in the recent core updates. Very frustrating
