HathiTrust SIP Validator version 0.2.1

This is a small update that enables handling of checksums files encoded as UTF-16 text such as those generated by some Windows utilities.

HathiTrust SIP Validator version 0.2.0

This release includes both a standalone .exe for Windows (validate_sip_v0.2.0.zip) and an installer for Windows (HTSIPValidatorInstaller_v0.2.0.exe).

For Linux and Mac OS X, download the Ruby source code and see the README for installation instructions.

This release also simplifies running the validator. Once it is installed, run it as:

validate_sip sip1.zip sip2.zip ...

It will output a validation report using the default configuration for all the SIPs listed on the command line. See the README for more information about installing and running the validator.

HathiTrust SIP Validator version 0.1.0

This first release of the HathiTrust SIP Validator allows partners submitting content directly to HathiTrust to validate the package structure including metadata, filenames, checksums, and OCR.

It DOES NOT validate images; that functionality is planned for a future release.
