test instance generation can be driven from sheets in excel. in the excel sheet we want to use, the starting cell has an offset (e.g. cell B6). see background in zulip

will provide a PR to add the functionality:

  • PR for adding testcase for generation with range
  • PR for functionality to core library
  • PR for updating document in ig-guidance and add example
