• Create folder for interview recording

Interview checklist

• 5 min prior, login to 1password and get hostkey for zoom 4
• Join the meeting via the calendar link in your invite or here in this issue
• Claim host
• Turn on recording and then pause
• When they enter room, ask if we can record and transcribe (see script)

We would like your consent to record this meeting so that our research team can review it to create a lesson plan around helping students prepare for job interviews. We will not share this recording with anyone outside the internship team without prior written permission.

Q: The internship could be time-consuming. Please describe what other major time
commitments you foresee having this coming summer, including extracurricular
activities and sports, summer school, family trips, etc., and discuss how you will
find time to be a successful, dedicated intern

A: his summer I will be participating in club basketball, studying for my SAT’s, and possibly
attending an engineering/computer science course. However, as a student at Marlborough who balances many extra curriculars with just as many classes and no free periods, I can assure you that no matter what extra time commintiements I have this summer, I will make sure to dedicate my time to this internship to the best of my abilities and spend additional hours outside of Hack for LA meetings times and even in the evenings of any summer course to work on my project so it is prepared for all deadlines.

I just finished watching the interview video and at 25:18 minutes, she mentions SAT prep and that she may join a summer camp, but it would not conflict with the internship and she will be able to work outside of meeting hours to complete projects. At 26:39 she says her tutorial schedules are not ready yet but she can make sure that they don't conflict with the internship schedule. She also mentions that the evening meetings and Sunday meetings will not be a problem.
