๐ŸŒ first-site

๐Ÿš€ i started my journey as a web developer with this small website project

๐ŸŒฑ this should be an inspiration and resource for anyone looking to get into web development

  • just try to build your very first website, step by step ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™€๏ธ
  • and learn the first important fundamentals of web development right away ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ”ฌ
  • also, don't be shy and show us your result ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป
  • we're all here to learn from and with others, no matter how advanced someone is ๐Ÿฃ

๐Ÿ‘€ check out what is possible with 1-3 hours of research and motivation

  • the site has content (with hyperlinks) ๐Ÿ“ฐ
  • it's styled ๐ŸŽจ
  • clicking on the image will show another one ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ
  • the user is asked for a name, which is displayed under the main heading and can also be changed by clicking the button ๐Ÿช„
  • the website is online using github pages ๐ŸŒŽ

๐Ÿ”ฎ i've created an upgraded version of this website - give the upgraded project a chance and check it out

๐Ÿ‘พ and here are the lines of code for my first-site

  • as a complete beginner, the following just looks impressive - i was surprised myself at what i achieved ๐Ÿคฉ
  • but you'll see, once you get started, it's not that difficult at all โšก๏ธ

        <h3>"Hello, World!" program</h3>
<p>A "Hello, World!" program is generally a simple computer program that outputs (or displays) to the screen (often the console) a message similar to "Hello, World!" while ignoring any user input. A small piece of code in most general-purpose programming languages, this program is used to illustrate a language's basic syntax. A "Hello, World!" program is often the first written by a student of a new programming language, but such a program can also be used as a sanity check to ensure that the computer software intended to compile or run source code is correctly installed, and that its operator understands how to use it.</p>
<h4>Note that HTML is not a programming language</h4>
