See #896. No reason to keep the code around if it's deprecated and Docker images work just as well.
Also swapped Sparkpost for Mandrill because of http://blog.mandrill.com/important-changes-to-mandrill.html

Until we finish the work in #896 I prefer to keep it around, as people still find it useful. |
