The day-to-day responsibilities of a core maintainer are some of the most challenging of any in the organization. Constantly being pulled in many, seemingly infinite directions leads to a feeling that it's challenging to get productive work accomplished. Balancing community needs, internally surfaced issues and support requests, and a desire to work on substantive bug-fixes and features is a **hard problem.**
