I see that we are removing a lot of colours that we added recently(?), did something change or do we not need them anymore?

There has been some confusion regarding whether to adopt the 10–97 range or continue using the existing range (100–1100). After discussing with the Design Team, they have shared a new color set (link attached in the ticket) for the Wave 2.0 Classic and Modern themes for the old color range (100 - 1100). So now if you are using bare color you can use as it is without changing any code.
