Weave 2.1.1 changes only one thing from Weave 2.1 and can be skipped as it is not critical

Changes:

• Animation duration for link hover has been reduced to 0.15s instead of 0.25s

Weave 2.1

Weave 2.1 is a somewhat minor release, again improving upon aesthetics from Weave 2.0

Changes:

• Complete revamp of adblock system to be more comprehensive (may perform around the same, though)
• Handles headings with custom weights more similar to how Apple platforms typically do so
• Links change font weight upon hovering as an indication they're links, instead of being underlined, with a smooth transition animation
• The link hover color is a touch lighter than before

Weave 2.0

Weave 2.0 is a relatively major release focused on aesthetics, let's see what's changed.

Changes:

• Adds proper tabbing support built directly in, with a New Tab button next to the Share button, even including a keyboard shortcut (cmd + t)
• Overhauls the visual style by making sites translucent, allowing other windows and your wallpaper in the background to slightly shine through
• Uses system/app accent color for links within websites, even including a fade transition and an underline for links thanks to an updated stylesheet (I promised I'd use the sysAccent variable someday!)

Expect some smaller changes dropping soon in the near future!

Weave 1.9.2

Weave 1.9.2 is a smaller release with some minor fixes to some core features, here's the changes.

Changes:

• Updated URL detection system to be a bit more accurate and forgiving of search queries with a period in them
• Grants camera permissions to the app and read/write access to Downloads, no clue if this will fix anything or not, but decided to do it since they are potential permissions needed for certain sites
• Generates the user agent on the fly instead of being preset based on your macOS release, should grant numerous smaller benefits with time
• Changes bundle identifier to xyz.cmdoptesc.Weave instead of com.cmdoptesc.Weave
• More internal code cleanup!

Weave 1.9.1 Update

This is such a minor release that there is literally no code changed.

Changes:

• The app icon got a makeover again, shoutout to the icon designer for this release again, @dootskyre on Twitter

• The keyboard shortcut for downloading the page source is now just cmd + s instead of cmd + shift + d (What was I thinking?)

Weave 1.9

Weave 1.9 is a relatively major release with some new features and improvements upon existing ones, let's take a look!

Changes:

• Fixes the bug with favicons not loading in 1.8.2
• Adds two new buttons (hidden by default): Copy Link (cmd + shift + c) and Download Source (cmd + shift + d) and they both pretty much describe themselves. You can use them with the keyboard shortcuts or by adding them to the toolbar
• Adds a keyboard shortcut to access the Share Sheet, cmd + shift + s
• Better describes some stuff internally with some slightly updated comments

Weave 1.8.2 is a minor release with only one update

• macOS' built in "Customize Toolbar..." shortcut now works on the Weave toolbar and you can move elements around to your desires.

Weave 1.8.1 is a minor fix to improve Weave when using with multiple tabs/windows

• Changes some stuff for CSS injection with multiple tabs/windows, may or may not actually fix an issue.

Weave 1.8 adds new features and improvements to Weave, let's check it out.

Changes:

• Keyboard shortcuts for back, forward, and refresh
• A Share button to use the system share sheet to send the current site to someone
• Makes minimum required macOS version 12.0, Monterey
• Complete revamp of the toolbar, overall cleaning it up, reorganizing things, and enhancing functionality
• Better handles favicon and title loading when navigating back and forwards between pages
• Proper tab support! (if you set Prefer to open documents as tabs to Always on your Mac's System Settings)
