As discussed in #85, this PR renames the "Toy projects and examples" to "Experiments and examples", which is now aimed at "no-maintenance-intended" software and experiments.
@adriangb's suggestions from #85 are consequently added to this section, as well as the benchmark from #67.
Finally, this PR adds @adriangb's talk at PyConUS 2023.
