What do I need to tell IT when requesting an ArcGIS license?

What are the important things to let the Technology Department know when you request the installation of an ArcGI license?

• Tell us about the project?
• Project Name (Full and abbreviated)
• List of people working on the project (primary must be a permanent staff member)
• Duration (For grant funded work Start and End, otherwise Start)
• Location of computer(s) on which it needs to be installed.
• EMu event irn if you already have one for the project.

IT Information Systems will then set up a GIS Project EMu event for you to document the project including things like: people, funding, timelines, descriptions etc. (If you have one already let us know the irn). This is also the archive location (as sites, multimedia, catalogue records etc attached to the event) for any GIS product that needs to be retained/archived post the end of the project.
