The focus of this release is supporting multiple databases with a unified query interface across NoSQL and SQL dbs.

If we are able to do this, even on a basic level it gives us more leverage on Meteor, and puts Feathers in the same camp as Sails. Frankly, maybe even further as I think we'll have support for more dbs, and it is easier to have multiple databases in the same app.
