I used the playground to reproduce the bug by using these settings:

  • Enabled ✅
    • Char Limit (UTF-8)
    • Max Length
  • Disabled ❌
    • All the rest

Lexical version: Playground version

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Start with an empty text editor (ctrl + A, then backspace)
  2. Enter something, ex. Hey
  3. Click on Clear button
