Describe the bug
Since this version (yesterday), HoverZoom has stopped showing previews for most images on Wikipedia and related websites, specifically those that link to their page on Wikimedia Commons rather than the source image URL (which is almost all of them).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Go to any Wikipedia article (like this one).
  2. Hover over an image on the page.

Expected behaviour
A HoverZoom+ preview should show, but it doesn't.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 7
  • Browser: Chrome
  • Version: 92.0.4515.159

Looking at the commit history, I just have to assume it's related to commit b0e310f, since that's the only MediaWiki change since the last update 1.0.181 on 17 September 2021, but I don't know.

@extesy As number of plug-ins keeps increasing, we definitely need a mechanism to detect regressions 😕
