CircleCI has 2 CPUs in the "resources", but after @djrtwo experimented with different configurations, the sweet spot seems to be 4. Squash & merge 👍

xdistto python tests to utilize 4 cpusLocally, this reduced run time from ~350s to ~200s. In circleCI this reduced run time from ~200s to ~90s.
