I'd like to have a series of derived queries on a single page, let's just say "top sources", "top destinations." I'd like to have two histograms on the page, one with sources, the other destinations. Currently, I can only select "all, pinned, unpinned, selected" which means on the first page load I can select the source or destinations, but if the derived query updates on refresh, (I don't think it does yet), and the top sources/destinations changes, my histograms will be blank. The simplest fix I could think of was naming the query elements, and allowing other elements to select specific query elements as a source of their data.

Closing since Kibana 4 allows you to use a different query for each visualization, and you can also use a terms or filter aggregation to split a vertical bar chart into multiple charts based on documents being "sources" or "destinations"
