This is a tracking issue for New Platform migration for all apps the Maps team is currently responsible for. This includes the following Kibana apps/plugins:

  • Maps
  • File Upload
  • Region Maps
  • Coordinate Maps
  • Legacy Maps (common resource for Vega, Region and Coordinate Maps)
  • xpack Tilemaps (legacy xpack licensing utility_

  • Break map legacy out into separate plugin
  • Connect region, coordinate, vega maps to new plugin
