When building custom tokenfilters without an index in the _analyze endpoint,
we need to ensure that referring filters are correctly built by calling
their #setReferences() method

Ew. Thanks for fixing it. It feels messy to make the fake index but I know we do it other places for this sort of thing.

It feels messy to make the fake index

Yeah, the whole way we mock up custom analyzers is a bit hacky here, but it works, so...
