We should at least print a warning if an easyblock (or whatever) is trying to use get_software_root() when the software is a filtered dep.

I've seen the case that hwloc is a filtered dep, but that is also used to enable features in a few packages (like in easybuilders/easybuild-easyblocks#2310)
