When I attempted to compile HDF4 and HDF-EOS2 with these new Intel oneAPI compilers the attempt was unsurprisingly not successful. I have not compiled these external libraries previously using oneAPI compilers and the HDF4 and HDF-EOS libraries being used are quite old. Due to time constraints and considering that I don't believe the immediate work at hand requires MODIS-Regrid or the lidar2nc tool, I did not spend any time trying to get these to compile, but rather moved on.

@jprestop jprestop removed the required: FOR OFFICIAL RELEASE Required to be completed in the official release for the assigned milestone label Jan 10, 2025
