Election of the board happens yearly at the autumn meeting. Rationale:

Approval: Creates a consensus of who is in charge of what. (currently things are fuzzy)

Provides an on- and off-ramp for members who want to increase or decrease their engagement.

The board is comprised of at least two directors and one secretary. One of the directors takes the role as treasurer, or the role may be shared.
We should have an article of association somewhere. The Hong Kong Companies Registry provides a model article of association.
